ABOUT
If 2000s rock had a pulse that never stopped beating, it would sound like Luigi Neighbours. Reawakening the anthemic sound of bands like Nickelback, Daughtry, Lifehouse, The Goo Goo Dolls & Three Days Grace
with a supernatural edge, Luigi’s music transforms
nostalgia into something alive again.

Dramatic, cinematic & unfiltered, he captures emotions that refuse to fade. Drawing listeners into a world where love lingers in the unseen, memories are frozen in time and every song feels like a chapter
of something unfinished.
After a year of crafting songs in London, Luigi has returned home to The Netherlands ready to continue writing his story. Determined to leave
a lasting mark, one song at a time.

MY STORY

At 14 years old, I picked up a pair of drumsticks for the first time.
What started as a curiosity quickly became an obsession. I spent countless hours behind my drum kit and new music was the thing I wanted to do. At 17 I found out about a new music school that was starting, called Rock City Institute. I quickly signed up, got called up to audition and was chosen to be a student!
Rock City Institute is where music became more than just a hobby, it became my life. It is where I truly learned the craft of being a musician and playing with others. It is here where I also started playing guitar and starting my journey as a songwriter.
Over the years I played in a variety of bands, eventually joining Shiverburn. Together we experienced things I had only dreamed about as a teenager: opening for 3 Doors Down and Hinder, and doing a European tour supporting Swedish prog metal band Soen.
Shiverburn eventually came to an end, but I wasn't ready to stop playing music.
I had spent years writing songs of my own and wanted to build a band around them. There was just one problem... I couldn't find the right singer. So I made what would become the biggest decision of my musical life. If I couldn't find the voice for my songs, I'd become that voice myself.
I traded the drum throne for center stage and started my own band, Sunrise Silver. Learning to sing while leading a band from the front wasn't easy, but for the first time I was performing music that truly felt like mine.
Then COVID arrived.
Like so many artists during that time, the band came to an unexpected end. Without the ability to play but still wanting to create music, the years that followed were filled with songwriting sessions, collaborations with DJs and producers from all around the world, and releases across different genres. It was an incredible learning experience, but deep down I kept feeling pulled back to the music that had made me fall in love with music in the first place.
The emotional rock music of the 2000s.
The bands that wrote about heartbreak, hope, loneliness and love accompanied by big guitars and larger than life choruses.
Rather than chasing trends, I decided to chase authenticity. That decision became ‘Luigi Neighbours’.
To fully commit to the project, I moved to London for a year. I spent my time writing songs, performing, collaborating with different songwriters & musicians and slowly discovering not only my sound, but also the artist I wanted to become.
When I returned back home to the Netherlands, I had solidified the vision of who I wanted to be as an artist.
The result is Right Person, Wrong Lifetime. My debut EP.
Six songs exploring the different faces of love: finding it, losing it, holding onto it, letting it go, and wondering what could have been.
Looking back, every chapter led here.
From drummer, to guitar player, to songwriter, to frontman, to finally being able to combine it all and the picture of who I am as an artist becoming clearer and clearer along the way. But this is only the beginning. Right Person, Wrong Lifetime. Coming October 2nd 2026.
